{"id":5103,"date":"2019-11-28T16:09:34","date_gmt":"2019-11-28T15:09:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.italsystemsrl.it\/?p=5103"},"modified":"2024-10-29T09:51:02","modified_gmt":"2024-10-29T08:51:02","slug":"astib","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.italsystemsrl.it\/en\/astib\/","title":{"rendered":"ASTIB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ASTIB project, started in 2018 in collaboration with Leonardo, aims to contribute to the generation of new technological products to be implemented in future Green Regional Aircraft (GRA).<\/p>\n<p>The main aim of the project is to support the improvement of the Technological Readiness Level up to TRL 5-6 for a considerable number of electronic devices considered of critical importance for the future GRA.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the project involves the realisation of:<\/p>\n<p>- Electromechanical actuators (EMAs) with their associated electronic control units (ECUs) for specific flight control surfaces;<br \/>\n- Winglet and Wigtip with morphing capability;<br \/>\n- Electric actuation of one main and one front carriage;<br \/>\n- Reliable prognostics and health management functions for electromechanical actuators;<br \/>\n- An advanced test bed for multifunctional integration, verification and validation (\u2018Iron Bird\u2019);<br \/>\n- Development of a validation platform for health monitoring;<br \/>\n- Tools for evaluating the benefits of an integrated health monitoring platform;<\/p>\n<p>Italsystem is responsible for the design and SW development for the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) of WINGTIP and WINGLET.
