Electromechanical Actuation

ItalSystem considers industrial research a key element to ensure continuous improvement of know-how and technologies, with the aim of providing innovative products and services. Since 2015, Italsystem has been Prime Partner for several European R&D projects focused on the Design, Development and Certification of Control systems dedicated to Electromechanical Actuation Systems.
The know-how is consolidated by various experiences on Research and Development Projects: the company collaborates with Universities and research centers such as CIRA, Fraunhofer-ENAS, Technalia, INSA, University of Naples Federico II, University of Salerno, Polytechnic of Milan etc. Since 2014 ItalSystem is Core Partner Clean Sky 2, with the AIRGREEN2 consortium.

ITS-ECU21 is the result of two decades of knowledge in aerospace software qualification (DO-178C DAL A) and electronic systems design and implementation.
Designed with a modular approach, aiming to comply with Multipurpose Requirements, ITS-ECU21 can be used for the movement and control of any type of moving surface and, thanks to its small size, be configured for the management of multiple aeronautical subsystems.
