Graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1978 at the University of Naples “Federico II”, after a brief work experience in Eni on the Italo-Algerian gas pipeline located in Algeria, Ing. Giovanni Perrotta started his experience as consultant in the Information Systems area of Aeritalia S.p.A. (today Leonardo Aircraft Division) in different fields of application like Technical Data, Manufacturing and Supply.

In 1996 he founded the ItalSystem s.r.l. , supporting Manufacturing and Engineering departments of Alenia Aermacchi.

The adoption of new business strategies allowed the ItalSystem s.r.l to be a member of the Leonardo supply chain (Aircraft Division, Aerostructures Division, Helicopter Division, Electronic Division).

In 2007 he created the Italsystem Embedded System Division, with the aim of providing technologically advanced services and solutions in the Engineering and IT sectors, with particular reference to the Design and Development of control systems, Qualification of Avionic SW, and Telecommunications,, Verification and Validation of software for safety-critical embedded systems, in particular for Flight Control Computer, Mission Computer, Vehicle Management System, Aircraft & Mission Management System, Cockpit Display System, Health and Usage Management System.

Since 2011 Giovanni Perrotta coordinated Italsystem Virtual Simulation Division, focused on Virtual simulation, dynamic model development, software and 3D graphics.

Thanks to his effort and competences, Italsystem now collaborates with some of the main players in the aeronautical field and is a qualified supplier of Leonardo SPA, ATR, Thales Alenia Space spa, ESA (European Space Agency) and CIRA (Italian Aerospace Research Center).

ItalSystem is ISO 9100: 2018 certified, collaborates with many Italian Universities (University of Salerno, University Federico II of Naples, Politecnico of Turin, Politecnico of Milan, University of Pisa), different European Research Centers (Onera, Fraunhofer) and operates in compliance with the RTCA and EUROCAE standards (DO178C, DO160, DO254, MIL-STD-498, etc.).

LEAR for ItalSystem s.r.l of the “Airgreen 2” project within the European aviation research program “Clean Sky 2” (Joint Technology Initiative under Horizon 2020), He inaugurated a new Company headquarter in 2021, wich provides wide spaces dedicated to technical areas, laboratories for research and technologically innovative and avant-garde projects.
