Leveraging the experience and knowledge acquired during the “TINAPICA” research project, ItalSystem has developed the Mind platform, a corporate product ideal for managing technical publications according to the S1000D standard.

Mind can be used on PC (compatible with MAC OS, Linux Debian, Microsoft Windows), tablets and smartphones (compatible with Android and IOS) guaranteeing a high level of security thanks to the SSL/TLS protocol, or subsequent SSL / TLS evolutions, and encryption methods for uploaded data and documents.

The Mind publishing system consists of two main parts

Documents: set of technical publications needed to support the product (text plus illustration, plus video, etc.)

Software: tools that allow the complete creation / development and use of the publication set.

In particular, Mind is able to handle the following inputs:

• Manuale legacy in PDF document (as Flight Manual)
• Data Module in XML format and related 2D / 3D illustrations, created according to S1000D ver. 3.0 or higher in relation to each program requirement
• 2D illustration formats to be support: CGM, GIF, JPG, PNG, SVG, SVGZ, TIFF
• 3D illustration formats to be supported: WRL, WRZ, X3D, U3D, 3D PDF, 3DMLW, 3DXML, RH, xvmrl.
